ABOUT THE FILM

Filmed over the last three years of James Pollard’s life around Vancouver BC, this film is a loving tribute directed by his friend and cousin, Carmen Pollard. In life, James was a long time theatre producer and he turns his terminal cancer into another creative, social experience. His final act is designed to help his loved ones experience the process of his death, in a positive, compassionate and interesting way. He helps to design his coffin and arranges a unique burial using clay mud. Carmen and James create healthy dialogue and understanding about his death, using candour, story and humour.
