ABOUT THE FILM
Why can people no longer afford to live in cities? Housing prices are skyrocketing, but incomes aren’t keeping up. Families are being pushed out of their homes, and even police and first responders can’t afford to live in the cities they’re supposed to protect. Meanwhile, new buildings are left vacant, sheltering money instead of people. Exploring the corporate commodification of housing and the appalling scale of the global housing crisis – and how we can push back – this lively and infuriating investigation has won multiple awards at festivals around the world, including the Audience Award at the Copenhagen International Documentary Festival.
