ABOUT THE FILM
It’s a harsh winter in Toronto for five street buskers. Their music is good and their stories difficult. We meet them on the cold street, in rooming houses, in tents and subway passageways. We hear about their troubles, we listen to their fantastic music and we come to see them as resourceful individuals doing their best to survive their unique struggles. We see their developing relationship with singer/songwriter Lorraine Segato, who eventually invites them into her studio to record their songs. And maybe we become more willing to speak to people on the street and to join actions to end homelessness.
