ABOUT THE FILM

An icon for over half a century, Linda Ronstadt was most successful female recording artist of the 1970s. Her ambition and exceptional vocal range allowed her to become the first artist to simultaneously top the Pop, Country and R&B charts, producing 11 Platinum albums, winning 10 Grammys and filling huge arenas – until she was forced into early retirement when her voice was silenced by illness. Featuring appearances by Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, Bonnie Raitt and Jackson Browne, this rapturous retrospective won the Audience Award at the Provincetown International Film Festival and the Critics’ Choice Documentary Award for Best Music Documentary.
