How to Die in Oregon

This deeply moving film chronicles the right to die with dignity in Oregon, the first American state to legalize physician-assisted suicide. It accompanies cancer patient Cody Curtis throughout her decision process. With her family, her doctor and an advocate from the Compassion and Choices support group, Cody’s exploration of her remaining time presents an even-handed grappling with the issue. This powerful film is an intelligent examination not just of death, but of courageously lived lives. Winner of the Sundance Grand Jury Prize.
